Rainwater harvesting

Most of us have taken water for granted. With draught affecting more and more areas we are becoming increasingly more aware of the importance of  water for our survival especially in a dry climate.

Rainwater can be easily harvested from roof areas and stored in above or underground water tanks.

This has been done for thousands of years in  most civilisations in drier regions of the earth and is very common in rural Australia today.

This can be done in all cities and towns and can supply a substantial part of your freshwater requirements .

Being largely self sufficient in water supply is possible for a  majority of Australian households and buildings.

We include appropriate rainwater harvesting into our

 holistic design.

We can advice in many aspects of collecting, storing, filtering and using this valuable resource

Water recycling

Many people are now becoming aware of the benefits of “wastewater” re-use. This water then is not “wasted”, but brought to good use again.

Together with rainwater harvesting this will easily make an average house  water self sufficient.

There are now many systems available recycling  grey water as well

as all effluent.

We include appropriate water recycling into our holistic design.

We can advice in many aspects of these systems.
